Huge shout out and thank you to IG Conchos Elementary School in Phoenix and our friends at the Roosevelt School District for participating in the very first Tru Flask Adventure Club event! We had so much fun hiking and hanging out with the kids, enjoying the outdoors, and learning about stewardship!
Without getting too deep, the launch of the Adventure Club is a big milestone. It's something we've been working on for over 2 years and initially planned to launch in 2020, but, like everyone else, we encountered a giant roadblock when the world had other ideas. Because schools were hit so hard, we were forced to put everything on hold; so now, as life begins to normalize, we are thrilled to see our club finally come to fruition, and things are just getting started!
The TFAC is central component to who we are as a company, it allows us to bring the most impact to our community through our love of adventure and the outdoors. It enable us to reach youth in their adolescence and plant the seeds of outdoor stewardship that will hopefully last a lifetime.
Our primary focus are youth from primarily under served and overlooked communities. We work directly with schools and non-profits to facilitate outdoor activities and events for these kids. The outdoors should be a place where all can be free and free to be. A place of joy, peace, reflection, and hope. This is our mission and we will go about it #oneadventureatatime.
