Warranty / Returns

Every Tru Flask® product comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Please note, our warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear (dents, scratches, coat chipping etc.) Each product is limited to one replacement.

Before you submit a warranty claim, please read the following:

Broken or leaking Lids

If your Lid breaks or you notice a leak, do not send your flask to us. Instead, simply use the link below to sign in and enter your warranty details. Please note you may be required to send us a photo of your lid to validate the claim and you will be responsible for the shipping charge to have the flask returned if you send the flask to us.

Damage during the shipping process

Please contact us if you ordered your flask from and it has arrived damaged. If you use your flask, we cannot replace it due to shipping damage. We will e-mail you a pre-paid shipping label to return the damaged flask and will send out a replacement flask upon receipt.

Uneven Welding

Tru Flasks are welded at the rim and sometimes, the welding can be uneven. If you receive a flask that has an uneven rim or lip, please contact us for a replacement.

Malfunctioning Flasks (Flasks that have lost their insulating properties)

Please note damages and large dents can cause insulation problems. Damages and dents are not covered as a manufactures defect and void your warranty.

Use boiling water to test the insulation of your flask at home.

  1. Pour boiling water directly into the standing flask, filling it to the neck (use caution when filling to avoid burns). DO NOT HOLD THE FLASK WHILE FILLING. DO NOT PLACE THE LID OVER THE FLASK.
  2. Wait 5-8 minutes, feel the outside of the flask (below the neck). If you feel any hot spots, the insulation has been compromised and you are eligible for a replacement.
  3. To submit a warranty claim, please submit pictures of your flask to show it is undamaged.
Rattling flasks

If you hear a slight rattling sound, this simply means the small metal disc that sits between the double wall of your flask has become dislodged. This will not affect the insulation or structural integrity of your flask.

Custom Tru Flask Warranties

Custom Tru Flask are not covered under our lifetime warranty, and we will handle each custom Tru Flask replacement on a case-by-case basis. Replacement flasks under warranty cannot be customized. If you have a flask with a custom logo, unfortunately we are not able to screen print or engrave the artwork on your return flask.

Warranty Claim Rights

Warranty claims will only be approved by Tru Flask® if the product was purchased from an authorized dealer. This warranty is limited to the lifetime of your Tru Flask® product, as limited by or subject to applicable law. Again, the warranty provided by Tru Flask® only covers manufacturing defects and does not include any damage or defect of any Tru Flask® products caused by, whether directly or indirectly, any of the following:

  1. Improper use or misuse of the product.
  2. Damage or defect caused by cleaning, disassembly, alterations, or modifications.
  3. Damage or defect caused by or resulting from wear and tear, abuse, fire, or Acts of God.

If you believe you have a defective flask and desire to make a warranty claim, use the login below to sign in and enter your warranty details. Alternatively, if you purchased your Tru Flask® product from an authorized Tru Flask® retailer, please contact the authorized Tru Flask® retailer that you purchased your Tru Flask® product from to make a warranty claim and avoid unnecessary shipping and handling charges and delay.

Replacement Flasks

Please note your Warranty Claim Tru Flask® will be replaced by the same size and color Tru Flask. If the size and color are no longer available, it will be replaced by one of similar size and color and will not be of lesser MSRP value. Replacement flasks under warranty cannot be customized.

Once we have your defective flask, please allow 7-10 days for return delivery. You will receive a confirmation email once the flask has been processed for a warranty exchange and an additional email once the replacement flask has departed our warehouse.

In no event shall Tru Flask® be liable or responsible for any damage, loss, cost, or expense, including incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.



For your warranty claim to be approved, the following conditions must be met:

• You must have purchased the product directly from TRU FLASK or from an authorized dealer;

• You must provide proof of the date of purchase

• You will be responsible for returning the product

• The product must have been used only as intended and in accordance with the product’s care instructions.

If a defect occurs as the result of the Product’s intended use according to the care instructions during the Warranty Period, TRU FLASK will repair or replace, at our discretion, the defective product or part.

If the product was customized directly by Tru Flask, the customized mark will also be replaced. This warranty does not cover defects caused by third-party modifications, repairs, or replacement parts. Punctures, scratches, normal wear and tear, and the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use are not warranted.

Warranty Claim/Return
